A TRANENT man will have to wear an electronic tagging device and stay in his home for 12 hours a day after supplying Class A drugs to others.
William Robertson was caught dealing quantities of cocaine to local drug users at an address at Ross Crescent in Tranent on January 1, 2022.
The 32-year-old was in the dock for sentencing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday, after he had admitted the offence on January 26 this year.
Sheriff Donald Corke sentenced Robertson to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work in the community and placed him on a restriction of liberty order.
Robertson will have to wear the electronic tag around his ankle and stay within his home at Morrison Avenue for the next 10 weeks.
