A PRESTONPANS man has been admonished after he admitted twice breaching bail conditions.

David Couch was granted bail at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on September 9, 2022, with the condition he stayed within his home on the town’s Middleshot Square between 7pm and 7am each day.

Couch, 37, breached the condition when he failed to answer the door to police officers who were checking on him on August 3 and October 17 last year.

Couch appeared back at the Capital court last week, where he pleaded guilty.

Sheriff Peter McCormack was told Couch was currently under a supervision order for an unrelated matter and decided to warn him of his future conduct and admonish him.
