Tranent Gala took place this summer
CHILDREN in Tranent are being invited to register to be part of the town’s gala court at next year’s gala.
Registration for the event is taking place at the Loch Centre on Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm. The draw for the court will be made at the town’s Christmas lights switch-on next month.
P1 girls can register to be fairies on the court, P3 boys and girls can register to be flower girls and page boys, while P7 boys and girls can register to be the consort, queen, maids or heralds.
A spokesperson for the gala said: “Without you, this cannot happen, so please encourage children to take part.”
