A BODY has been found on a street in Musselburgh this morning.
Police say that the body of a man was discovered on Mountjoy Terrace in Musselburgh at about 6.15am this morning.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of his death and officers remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.15am on Monday, July 17, a man was found deceased on Mountjoy Terrace, Musselburgh.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
"Officers remain at the scene."
