IMPROVED toilet facilities could be created at a busy coastal site.
A family accessible changing facility and a changing places area are planned for the toilets at Yellowcraig, near Dirleton.
The new facilities would be built on to the existing toilets and Ranger Education Suite on the site.
East Lothian Council has submitted the plans to its own planning department with hopes a decision could be made by the end of April.
A spokeswoman for the local authority said: "These proposed works of an extension of toilet block at Yellowcraig will be funded through RTIF funding (Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund – operated by VisitScotland) and will enhance the provision at this popular site."
