GULLANE beach has been closed after the body of a woman was discovered this morning.
The woman was found at about 7.50am. Police and emergency services remain in attendance.
Enquiries are under way to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.50am on Thursday, December 15, police received a report that a body of a woman had been found on the beach at Gullane.
"Emergency services are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
