A POSITIVE case of coronavirus has been recorded at Dunbar Primary School.

An East Lothian Council spokesperson said that parents had been made aware after the positive Covid-19 test and all close contacts had been identified.

The spokesperson said: "Parents were advised of a positive case within the school and that everyone who had been in close contact had been identified, advised to stay at home and self-isolate, and to get tested.

"The school has multiple control measures in place against Covid, supported with regular testing of staff, to limit risk of onwards transmission.

"The school remains open in line with Scottish Government guidelines.

"If a child has not been advised that they are a close contact and remains well, they can continue to attend school."
