A MAN’S body has been found on an area of beach at Longniddry Bents.
Police were called to the beach this morning (Wednesday) after reports of a body being found.
A police spokeswoman said: “At about 10.20am on Wednesday, police received a report that a man’s body had been found on the beach near Longniddry golf course.
"Emergency services are in attendance and inquiries are ongoing.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.
