A MUSSELBURGH woman who stole a bag and cash from an unlocked vehicle has been sentenced.
Michelle Luby opened the vehicle door and took the bag and a quantity of money during the incident at St Clement's Gardens North, Wallyford, on February 2 this year.
Luby, of Moir Avenue, also nicked a set of keys a from the unsecured vehicle.
The 36-year-old had previously pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and she returned to court on Monday for sentencing.
A plea of not guilty to stealing a quantity of food and beverages from the town's Pinkie Farm Store on March 7 this year was accepted by the Crown.
After hearing Luby had been of good behaviour since the theft incident Sheriff Frank Crowe decided to admonish her on the charge.
