BLOOMING Haddington were East Lothian's big winners yesterday evening (Thursday) as the town played host to the annual Beautiful Scotland awards.
The Haddington group not only picked up a Gold award but also won the Medium Town category at the awards, which were held at St Mary's Parish Church.
Dunbar in Bloom also did the double, scooping a Silver Gilt award and the Young People’s Award.
North Berwick in Bloom struck Gold in the Coastal Town category.
There was also success for East Lothian Council, who picked up the Wright Sustainability Award for sustainable planting displays.
The awards, organised by Keep Scotland Beautiful, support community groups across Scotland as they seek to improve and enhance their local environment.
