EMERGENCY services were called out on Sunday morning following an accident on the A1.
Firefighters from Newcraighall and Musselburgh received a call at about 6.55am following reports of an accident involving a car travelling east along the road just before the Salters Road sliproad at Wallyford.
Nobody was trapped in the vehicle and firefighters from Newcraighall helped police officers in making the road safe.
The Musselburgh crew were stood down before they reached the incident.
