Accident happened near St Martin's RC Church
A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to hospital after he was struck by a car in Tranent.
Police said they were called to the High Street at 11.10am after the youngster was hit by a vehicle.
The accident happened near St Martin's RC Church.
The youngster was taken to Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital. Police said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
