A TEAM of young farmers cycled for 24 hours at the Haddington Show in aid of a local charity.
A total of 31 members of East Lothian Junior Agricultural Club took part in the cycle on two static exercise bikes (see picture above) as the young farmers raised money for Leuchie House.
The cycle started as the showground was being set up at 4pm on June 29 and they cycled throughout the following day before reaching their 24-hour goal as the show drew to its conclusion.
Craig Simpson, chairman of East Lothian Junior Agricultural Club, told the Courier: “The cycle went very well.
“We had 31 members taking a stint on the bikes, which contributed to the 750 miles in the 24 hours.”
