A NORTH Berwick restaurant is celebrating after it retained a top national award.
For the second year in a row, Osteria won Best Italian Restaurant at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Angelo Cocchia, owner, was “delighted” with the success.
He told the Courier: “We’re really pleased.
“To win last year was great but to win for a second year in a row makes us very proud.
“It is not just for me, it is for all the staff as well – they work very hard. Thank you, too, to our customers.”
A spokesperson for the awards said: “Congratulations to all winners and highly recommendeds.”
Osteria were the only county winners on the night.
