Edinburgh Sheriff Court
A MAN has appeared in court in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault.
Daniel Wells, 30, appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday where he made no plea and he was committed for further examination.
Wells is facing allegations under section one and three of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
Wells, whose address is given as in the Musselburgh area, was remanded in custody and he will appear back in court within eight days.
