THE award-winning East Lothian Courier is seeking a talented reporter to join its team in Haddington.
You will have a great news sense, good writing ability, and the confidence to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
You will thrive on the challenge of breaking exclusive stories and delivering fresh, innovative ideas to enhance our coverage and engage with our audience.
A strong understanding of digital and social media is essential.
Ideally fully NCTJ qualified with 100 wpm shorthand and a driving licence, applicants should be able to demonstrate a passion for the job and a good knowledge of the circulation area.
The successful candidate will be based at our office in Haddington and must be a car owner.
This is a two-year fixed-term contract including holiday entitlement, pension scheme, plus other benefits available to you as a Newsquest employee. The East Lothian Courier was last month named Weekly Newspaper of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards.
