FOUR youths have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged break-in to a village store in the early hours of this morning.
Police said the boys, who are aged between 13 and 16, were charged after reports Gullane Co-op had been broken into some time around 2.20am.
It is alleged food, alcohol and cigarettes were taken during the incident.
The store delayed opening until 11am today as repairs were carried out.
A police spokesperson said: "Police in East Lothian have arrested and charged four male youths, aged between 13 and 16, in connection with a break-in to a business premises in the Main Street area of Gullane.
"A report will be submitted (to the relevant agencies)."
