A MUSSELBURGH woman has been hit with an interim ASBO after repeated complaints from neighbours about her behaviour.

The interim anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) granted against Jaclyn Reynolds, 38, of Lochend Road South, followed an application to the court by East Lothian Council.

The court was presented with details of the alleged anti-social behaviour of Ms Reynolds, which included shouting and swearing and being abusive, causing alarm and distress to others.

The terms of the ASBO prohibit Ms Reynolds from behaving in a way that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to others and includes shouting, swearing and disturbing neighbours at Lochend Road South. She is also prohibited from causing noise disturbance through repeatedly banging and thumping within her property and greatly disturbing others.

A council spokesperson said: “The interim ASBO served on Ms Reynolds has resulted from repeated complaints from residents in Lochend Road South and elsewhere in Musselburgh who have been alarmed and disturbed by her behaviour.

“The council’s Safer Communities team worked closely with Police Scotland colleagues to respond to complaints and gather the evidence to present to court.”
