THE casting agency behind the recent Armchair Detectives series which filmed in East Lothian is holding open auditions for people who want to be on television or the big screen.
Uni-versal Extras, who are based at Pinewood Studios, will be holding Scottish auditions in Edinburgh this weekend.
The company, which provided supporting parts on the murder mystery show as well as working on movies including Star Wars, Kingsman and Justice League, are looking for supporting artists for future shows.
The open casting is free and all hopefuls must be aged over 16 and have the right to work in the UK.
Amy Leyshon, events co-ordinator said: "We have some exciting projects coming up across Scotland, so are looking for people to come and register to work as supporting artists with us.”
The casting will take place from 10am – 4pm on Saturday (Apr 14) at the Radisson Blu Hotel, on the Royal Mile.
