SCOTLAND'S First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is visiting the East Lothian Community Hospital.

Work has been ongoing at the hospital, built on the site of Haddington's Roodlands Hospital, for a number of months.

The outpatients department was officially opened last Monday (March 12).

The First Minister is being given a tour of the multi-million-pound facility, which is due to be fully open by early 2020.

The outpatients department will be home to facilities including x-ray, ante-natal, orthopaedics, dermatology and more.
