A TRANENT teenager has pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine during a search at a police station.
Nathan Cooke was found to have the Class A drug after he was taken to Dalkeith Police Station on a separate matter. Cooke, of Brae Cottages, was also caught with a false driving licence by officers as he was searched at the station on March 10 last year.
The teenager was then caught with a quantity of MDMA at an address in Dalkeith on October 1 last year.
He admitted three charges at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
The 18-year-old had not guilty pleas to assaulting and threatening to kill a man and attempting to kick a woman accepted by the Crown.
Sheriff Nigel Ross deferred sentence to March 29.
