MUSSELBURGH ace Huw Jones scored two first half tries as Scotland beat England 25-13 at BT Murrayfield.
The win ended Scotland's decade-long wait for victory in the fixture, and came after an inspired first half, with the Scots 22-6 ahead at half-time.
County star Jones' first score ended a 14-year wait for a Scottish try over the 'Auld Enemy' in Edinburgh - the 24-year-old scoring after a kick through from Finn Russell.
And his second score came on the stroke of the break, a Greig Laidlaw pass putting Jones away, and he showed great pace to beat England full-back Mike Brown to the line.
Sean Maitland scored between Jones' brace, while Greig Laidlaw has added two conversions and a penalty in a pulsating opening 40 minutes.
England's only points in the first half came from the boot of Owen Farrell, through two penalties.
He crossed for an early second half try, and converted to bring the visitors back into contention, but Finn Russell sealed the win with a penalty.
Defeat for England is only their second under Eddie Jones, and ends their Grand Slam hopes.
Scotland now travel to Dublin in a fortnight with their hopes of winning the Championship firmly alive.
