A CYCLIST has sustained a serious wrist injury after she was struck by a car in Musselburgh.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at the roundabout at the junction of Newhailes Road and Olive Bank Road, on Sunday afternoon at about 2pm.
The cyclist was travelling towards Fisherrow when she was struck by the car, believed to a black Vauxhall Corsa, which failed to stop.
The 43-year-old woman attended hospital and was found to have sustained a serious injury to her wrist.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has any information which can help with enquiries, to get in touch.
Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2358 of February 18, or report this anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
