RAIL passengers travelling between Edinburgh and Newcastle have been hit by disruptions due to a signalling fault.
The issue has resulted in a number of trains, which stop at Dunbar, being cancelled this morning (Monday).
According to Virgin Trains East Coast, disruption between Edinburgh and Newcastle is expected until 1pm.
They state: "A fault with the signalling system between Edinburgh and Newcastle is causing disruption to trains between these stations.
"Trains are required to run at a reduced speed between these stations and may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
"Disruption is expected until 1pm."
