POLICE are appealing for information to trace an Edinburgh man with connections to Esat Lothian.
Colin McLennan. was last seen on Monday, January 8 at about 7.30pm in the Saughtonhall Drive area of Edinburgh.
Police have established that the 58-year-old used the number 29 Lothian bus at about 12.50pm on Tuesday.
He is seen on bus CCTV cameras wearing a black beanie hat, black puffer jacket, a maroon scarf, blue jeans, black outdoor walking shoes and carrying a blue and grey coloured rucksack bag, but officers believe he has since changed his clothing.
Colin has links to Dunbar, Cockenzie, Musselburgh and North Berwick, as well as the Colinton Dell, Riversdale and Cramond areas of Edinburgh.
Inspector Iain Darling, from Drylaw Police Station in the Capital, said: “We are aware that Colin travelled by bus on Tuesday, January 9 to the Stockbridge area and thereafter alighted the bus on Frederick Street.
"We believe he then walked west towards the pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights and would ask anyone who has seen him since to contact us as soon as possible.
“We are eager to trace Colin and are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“Anyone who may know of his current whereabouts, or who has information that can help with our efforts to trace Colin, are asked to contact us immediately.”
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 1707 of 10 January.
