A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a spate of shoplifting in Haddington.
Thefts took place from a number of businesses in the town between Wednesday, October 4, and Tuesday of this week.
The 37-year-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday (Wednesday).
Community Support Sergeant Scott Nicolson from Haddington Police station said: “Local businesses have suffered as a result of these crimes and we are committed to working with business owners across East Lothian to ensure that perpetrators are detected and held responsible for their actions.”
