A MAN lost two teeth after he was punched while talking politics with a fellow passenger on a Glasgow train.

Transport cops are now hunting for the thug responsible for the assault which happened at Paisley Gilmour Street at around 7.30pm on Saturday.

The incident started on board a train service between Glasgow Central and Paisley Gilmour Street after the victim and another passenger began talking about politics.

The discussion escalated when the pair reached Paisley Gilmour Street. After leaving the service the passenger assaulted the victim. The victim was punched in the mouth which resulted in him losing two teeth.

The man is described as white, 5ft 6inches, and around 30 to 35 years old. He had a thin build and was clean shaven. He was dressed all in black.
