A SEX beast grabbed a young girl and subjected her to a sexual assault in a lane near a primary school in Pollok.
The shocking attack happened near St Marnock's Primary School.
The Evening Times understand the girl, 10, was grabbed by the pervert who told her to be quiet before he subjected her to the assault.
The young girl, however, fought back and, as she screamed, the beast bolted from the scene.
Cops confirmed they are investigating the incident and quickly taped-off the scene in order to find the man responsible.
Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that, at around 5.10pm on Tuesday, November 14, a 10-year-old girl was walking on Langton Crescent, Pollok when she was approached by a man who indecently assaulted her.
"Shortly thereafter, a member of the public stopped to help the young girl and police were contacted.
"The young girl was not injured. However, she was distressed.
"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
