A DRUG addict described by his defence brief as "Mr Very Small" was jailed after being caught with heroin.
Derek Bradford, 34, was searched by cops on February 18 this year and found with £400 worth of the Class A drug.
Bradford's defence agent said: "He has addiction issues and became involved with people who exploited him.
"He knows that he is part of a system that damages lives, although he is not Mr Big and rather Mr Very Small."
Bradford, of Parnie Street, is now working with Turning Point and the Simon Community to address his habit.
Sheriff William Totten said: "I don't have any alternative but to send you to prison.
"I appreciate what's been said about your circumstances and I will restrict the sentence as far as I can."
Bradford's girlfriend sobbed as he was sentenced to five months in prison.
