A HUGE crowd turned out at Prestonpans Community Centre this afternoon (Friday) as Josh Taylor weighed in ahead of his WBC Silver super lightweight title defence against with Miguel Vazquez tomorrow.
In his hometown, the 26-year-old tipped the scales at nine stone, 13 pounds and two onces.
His Mexican former world champion opponent, four years Taylor's senior, weighed in just one pound l lighter (nine stone, 12 pounds and two onces).
The pair were met with huge cheers as they took to the stage, and Taylor thanked the hundreds in attendance for turning out this afternoon.
He said: "Thank you to everyone who's come along - this is better than anything I'd imagined.
"I'll be keeping this belt in Prestonpans."
