A PIPE band’s popular annual calendar has been launched in Haddington.
The town’s pipe band brings out a calendar each year to raise funds for tuition, instruments, uniforms and other initiatives.
The 2018 calendar, which features the band playing in a series of familiar locations, was officially launched by Provost John McMillan.
He said: “The launch went very, very well.
“It was really busy and there was a very good crowd.
“The band were sounding excellent and an amazing number of people turned up.”
Pictures from the calendar are on display at the café, to the rear of the town’s Corn Exchange.
Alastair Bruce, chairman of the band’s board, was delighted with the launch and thanked all those who came along.
The pipe band first started making calendars in 2011 and Mr Bruce said: “It has been a huge hit and it goes around the world.
"We get a lot of people requesting it and people locally sending it to family and friends overseas.”
The calendar, costing £5, is available in libraries and other outlets.
