POLICE have issued a public safety warning following the loss of prescription medicine from Port Seton.

Between 11pm last Thursday (October 5) and noon the following day, prescription medication including liquid and tablet Morphine, Pramipexole, Duloxetine, Lanzoprasole, Ranitidine and Diazepam went missing from a property in Seton Sands Holiday Village.

The public are asked to look out for the medication, which was within a black bin-sack, and are advised not to consume any of the contents.

Detective Inspector Paul Batten, of Livingston CID, said: “This is a large amount of prescription medication that could cause significant harm to someone’s health if consumed.

“We are keen to trace the medication and ask that anyone who has seen medication matching the above description to contact police immediately.”
