AN INTERIM Antisocial Behaviour Order has been granted against a 21-year-old woman following an application by East Lothian Council.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court was presented with details of the alleged antisocial behaviour of Shannon Abraham, of Dunbar’s Lammermuir Crescent, which included shouting, swearing and playing music at levels that caused discomfort and distress to others.

The terms of the ASBO prohibits Ms Abraham from behaving in a way that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to others and includes shouting, swearing and disturbing neighbours in Lammermuir Crescent.

She is also prohibited from having more than two visitors at her property at any one time, except individuals who are there for the course of their employment.

A spokeswoman for East Lothian Council said: “The interim ASBO served on Ms Abraham has resulted from repeated complaints from residents in Lammermuir Crescent, Dunbar who have been alarmed and disturbed by her behaviour.

“The council’s Safer Communities team worked closely with Police Scotland colleagues to respond to complaints and gather the evidence to present to court.”
