POLICE are investigating claims a student was sexually assaulted during a night out in Musselburgh.
The Queen Margaret University student reported the alleged attack earlier this month.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in East Lothian are continuing to investigate the sexual assault of a woman at an address in the Stoneybank area of Musselburgh on September 6 and officers are currently following a positive line of enquiry in connection with this.”
