Man appeared on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court
A 61-year-old man has appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with having indecent images of children at his home.
William Laird, Macmerry, faces three charges in connection with indecent photographs of children.
He appeared on petition this week and made no plea or declaration. He was released on bail.
Police Scotland confirmed they arrested a man following a search of a property in the village on Monday.
