Man admits having indecent images of children on home computer
A COUNTY man has been placed on the sex offenders’ register after admitting possessing indecent images of children.
James Mackenzie, of Athelstaneford, appeared in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to the charge.
The 59-year-old admitted possessing the images on computer equipment at his home address between June 19, 2013, and November 3, 2016.
Mackenzie will return to court for sentencing on September 14.
He has been placed on the sex offenders' register for a period yet to be determined.
