A MAJOR road into Musselburgh was briefly closed yesterday afternoon after a lorry hit a railway bridge.
The lorry hit the bridge near Musselburgh Golf Club on the B6415 near Old Craighall Roundabout, resulting in its load falling into the road.
Police arrived on-site to manage traffic before closing the road, which re-opened a short time later.
The incident briefly affected bus services in the town.
