THIEVES broke into outbuildings at several homes in Prestonpans in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police said a range of items were stolen including golf clubs and power tools including an orange Flymo lawn mower and Black and Decker drill.

The incidents happened in the Cuthill area of the town between midnight and 8.30am.
