GOALKEEPER Murray Jackson was the hero as Tranent came from behind to win a second trophy in just four days.

The Belters came into the East of Scotland Cup final buoyed by victory in the Fife and Lothians Cup on Wednesday night.

Bonnyrigg Rose provided a stern opposition and took the lead from the penalty spot when Andrew Kidd scored seven minutes before the break.

Almost immediately, Tranent bounced back and ensured the scores were level at half time.

A clever one-two was finished off by Kenny Fisher, who was the hero on Wednesday night against Broxburn Athletic.

Both sides had chances after the break but it would come down to a penalty shoot-out.

Tranent have been impressive from the spot in the cup and again were flawless.

Jackson pulled off two saves and it was down to Craig Wojtowycz to smash home the decisive kick to send the East Lothian fans wild.
