THE county's train services have now returned to normal, following the chaos that met commuters travelling home to East Lothian yesterday (Wednesday).
All trains were cancelled from shortly after 2.30pm due to a fault with overhead wires at Wallyford, ScotRail confirmed.
Replacement buses were laid on, but ScotRail confirmed that train services had returned to normal this morning.

However, some passengers reported that they were stuck on trains for hours with nowhere to go.
Cath Murray posted on the Courier's Facebook page: "Sat on the 13.27 from North Berwick to Edinburgh, for 3hrs 20mins outside Prestonpans, very hot, no air con, no senior managers with answers."
A ScotRail Alliance spokesperson said that because of the damage, the train was unable to move, and said that passengers were kept up-to-date with information by the crew, who also provided water.
The spokesperson added: “We did all we could to keep customers moving last night.
"We had arrangements in place for train tickets to be accepted on local buses, as well as replacement buses in place.
"Anyone delayed over 30 minutes should keep hold of their tickets, and claim compensation under our Delay Repay scheme.”
