COMMUTERS are set to face chaos travelling home this evening (Wednesday) with all trains serving the county cancelled.

The line between Edinburgh-North Berwick/Dunbar was closed shortly before 3pm, with ScotRail confirming it is due to "damage to the overhead electric wires at Wallyford."

They also said the closure would be until the end of service today.

Replacement buses are being laid on at Edinburgh Waverley for those making their way to East Lothian.

ScotRail also confirmed that train tickets are being accepted on Lothian Buses and the Perryman's 253 service.

They provided this update shortly before 4pm.

And for exact details of the replacement bus services, search for@ScotRail on Twitter.

Anyone who has been delayed on their journey by more than half an hour is eligible to have their ticket refunded.
