A YOUNG man was caught behind the wheel while banned.
On Thursday at Alloa Sheriff Court, Gary Thomson also admitted driving along Tullibody's Carseview on March 18 this year without insurance.
Defending, Chris Macfarlane claimed that the 24-year-old accused accepted that his "actions were stupid".
Mr Macfarlane explained that Thomson drove to comfort his wife after they'd had a falling out.
The accused, of Main Street in Cambus, was sentenced to a Community Payback Order with 160 hours of unpaid work to be completed within six months.
His licence was also endorsed with 12 penalty points.
