A WALLYFORD teenager is alleged to have smashed a metal bar over the head of a man and threatened to stab others during an alleged bust-up in the village.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have attacked Gary Fisher by striking him with the makeshift weapon at Salters Road, Wallyford, last summer.
The 17-year-old is also alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by threatening to stab others during the alleged incident on June 5 last year.
The teenager appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday, where he lodged not guilty pleas to six charges in total.
He is also said to have flouted a court bail order issued on February 29 last year by not being within his home between 9pm and 7am on June 25.
The youth is also alleged to have assaulted two women by punching them to the head and presenting a knife at them at Delta Road, Musselburgh, on June 25.
He will return to court for a further hearing on June 7.
