EAST Lothian MP George Kerevan has been caught up in a "terrorist incident" at the UK Parliament in which four people have died.
Reports suggest a policeman was stabbed near Parliament, with a suspect then shot by armed officers, after he managed to enter a secure area of the Parliament.
Four people have so far been confirmed dead, including a woman, a police officer and a man believed to be an attacker, with many others injured.
Mr Kerevan took to social media to confirm he was safe after he and other politicians were placed under a lockdown.

Mr Kerevan earlier revealed what information was being given to MPs after shots were heard.

Reports of other incidents near the House of Commons are coming in with claims a car has mown down several people.
Meanwhile, debate has also been suspended at the Scottish Parliament, where MSPs had been debating the possibility of a second independence referendum.
