SNOW, ice and lightning storms are being forecast across East Lothian tomorrow as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for the county.
Showers due to arrive tonight are expected to turn increasingly into snow and hail by tomorrow morning with warnings of up to 5cm of snow lying on the hills and higher ground.
Weather experts said air from the Arctic was producing the wintry conditions and ice is likely to form on untreated roads.
They added that lightning was an additional hazard, forecast for tomorrow.
The warning is in place from 8pm this evening until 10am tomorrow.
The Met Office said: "This may lead to some transport disruption and difficult driving conditions."
