A NUMBER of receptions, libraries and museums will be shut for one day later this month.
All East Lothian Council customer service staff will be attending a day of staff training on Wednesday, February 22.
The training is to allow for planning of services and staff development.
There will be no staffed receptions at The Brunton, Musselburgh; Court Street reception at John Muir House, Haddington; The George Johnstone Centre, Tranent; Aldhammer House, Prestonpans; The John Gray Centre, Haddington; and Library and Museums HQ, Haddington.
On top of that, all branch libraries will be closed, as well as all museums, with the exception of John Muir’s Birthplace in Dunbar.
The main reception in John Muir House will remain staffed and any member of the public looking for assistance should call 01620 827827.
