EMERGENCY services rushed to a farm between Gifford and Garvald this afternoon after reports of a wall collapsing as a man was working in a trench.
Police said fire crews and an ambulance crew were on the scene after reports of a man being injured as he was working in the trench.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed that they received a call at about 3.10pm, with crews from East Linton and Haddington joined by colleagues from Newcraighall and Edinburgh's Tollcross and McDonald Road at Chesters Farm.
They said that the condition of the man was not thought to be serious.
The spokesman said that the crews were then told to stand down at about 3.30pm.
