HEAVY rain overnight brought severe weather to parts of East Lothian this morning (Tuesday).
The A1 was closed in both directions yesterday evening following a collision near the Gladsmuir junction.
The road has since re-opened.
Meanwhile, in Haddington, parts of the River Tyne walkway was flooded.
A fallen tree also caused an obstruction on the B6414 near Elphinstone late yesterday evening.
The high winds and overnight downpours followed a yellow 'be aware' weather warning, issued by the Met Office.
The county's weather warning has since been lifted, although similar notices are in place for other parts of the UK.
