THIEVES made off with three bicycles worth thousands of pounds after breaking into a shed in Musselburgh.
Police are hunting the thieves who forced their way into the shed at a home address in Monktonhall Terrace over the weekend.
And they have issued photographs of the stolen bikes in the hope of tracing them.
The break-in happened between 6pm on Satuday and 9am Sunday.
Police Constable Declan Hogg of Musselburgh Police Station said: "These bikes are worth a lot of money and we are eager to find those responsible for the theft as soon as possible.
"Anyone who was in the Monktonhall Terrace area on the evening of Saturday, October 15, and saw anything suspicious, is asked to get in touch with us immediately."
