ROADS will be closed for one hour on Saturday as a parade is held in Tranent to mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.
Tranent Loyal Orange Lodge 228 is holding a parade from its meeting place at Blair Hall, Haddington Road, to the war memorial to remember those soldiers who fell in the battle.
Road closures will be in place between 5pm and 6pm in Winton Place, Bridge Street and the High Street.
The parade will leave Blair Hall at 5pm, heading down through Northfield, along Lindores Drive and up the High Street towards the war memorial.
Following a wreath-laying ceremony, it will go up the B6371 before turning down through Ross Crescent and Morrison Avenue, and back to the hall.
